General Description: The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for leading the technical support team to provide excellent service to the user community and resolve all technical issues at Mazzoni Center.

Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills are required for this position. The person in this position must be able to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and others; and contribute to a positive mission focused environment.

Key Responsibilities: ● Oversee and direct daily IT functions. ● Oversee support of telecommunications systems. ● Support IT staff in responding to requests for technical assistance, diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues. ● Oversee user support and customer service on company supported computer systems and applications. ● Work with external vendors to support agency users and agency owned equipment. ● Assist in patch and asset location management. ● Maintain daily performance of Mazzoni Network. ● Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT ● Lead large IT projects, including the deployment of new IT systems and services ● Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improvements to the IT infrastructure ● Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs ● Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software

Education, Training, License and Certification, Skills and Experience: ● Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience ● 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations ● Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies ● Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems ● Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills ● Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize ● Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices ● Customer service oriented with problem solving skills. ● Excellent written and verbal communications skills. ● Knowledge of Windows based systems. ● Knowledge of Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and Network Security standards. ● Ability to work with a diverse population. ● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. ● Ability to multi-task.

Clearances: Background checks are required, including Criminal Background Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

The ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods.

Ability to move and relocate IT equipment weighing up 35 pounds

unassisted.

Ability to move and relocate IT equipment weighing in excess of 35 pounds

with assistance.

The ability to communicate using written and spoken words

Must demonstrate visual and auditory acuity

Must have all necessary vaccinations
