LGBTQ+ Support Group Manager Position

HiTOPS, an adolescent sexual health education and support organization seeks
an experienced manager to oversee our LGBTQ+ Support Group Program

Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of our LGBTQ+ Support Group Program, including: acting as
a thought partner on program development, design, and expansion; conducting
intakes for prospective group members; developing activity plans and
completing observation notes; facilitating four groups; moderating group
chats; supervising graduate level interns; interfacing with families and the
larger community; and  expanding and managing our referral database.

Experiences and Skills:
•       Minimum four years’ experience:
o       Working with youth, including queer youth and youth of color.
o       Group facilitation, preferably in a hybrid live/virtual format
o       Supervising graduate level interns
•       Demonstrated ability with program oversight, design, and implementation;
balance of big picture with daily operations; and problem-solving.
•       Resourceful and thrive in fast-paced environment, energetic, organized,
creative, flexible, and adaptable style.
•       Comfort and facility engaging with community partners, families, and
other stakeholders
•       Support for the tenants of affirming sex education and support, and youth
development
•       A demonstrated commitment to diverse populations and the youth voice, and
an understating of intersectionality
•       Alignment with the HiTOPS mission; demonstrated commitment to positive
sexual health, adolescents, and public health.
Requirements: Experience and Skills
Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Counseling, or related
degree required

Details:
Full time position includes flexible hours, insurance, PTO benefits
Job Type: Full time, 50% remote, 40 hours/week
Salary: $55,000/annually
