The Tactile Group

The Tactile Group is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to provide support on multiple projects for clients including federal government, city government, small businesses, and nonprofits. The coordinator in this role will support all aspects of projects, particularly scheduling events, creating support materials, proofreading reports and briefs, tracking expenses, and general administrative duties. The coordinator will also provide some internal team support as Needed.

Please Note: While The Tactile Group is an application development company, this position is not IT-related.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this position will be:

  • Scheduling numerous virtual one-hour conferences and multi-day virtual or i n-person visits with multiple stakeholders
  • Oversee creation of support materials
  • Schedule webinars, draft invites, confirm RSVPs
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Proofread materials before release
  • Track reimbursements for event attendees
  • Attend kick-off and other project meetings and serve as note taker as needed by Project Management Office
  • Support Project Management Office including help with timelines, schedules, and project progress to make sure deliverables are met
  • Deliver excellent communication and diligent follow up
  • Organize multiple streams of work
  • Work collaboratively across related projects
  • Contribute to organizational knowledge as part of Tactile’s Project Management Office
  • Ability to reconcile project deliverables and expenses with budget
  • Ability to provide invoicing back-up support to projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for this position, applicants must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of related experience (in federal projects or education administration a plus)
  • Proficient in Google and Microsoft Suites
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate diverse groups toward a common goal
  • Ability to undergo a background check and qualify for public trust security clearance for the federal government
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to client offices (Washington, DC) and company headquarters in Philadelphia (1-2 times per year)

Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
