The Senior Manager of Online Fundraising leads All Out's online fundraising
work.

On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Manager of Online Fundraising oversees the
strategy, planning, and implementation of All Out’s email-based fundraising
campaigns globally; including but not limited to unrestricted fundraising,
crowdfunding campaigns, the sustainer program, and P2P giving.

The bulk of our online fundraising work pertains to our English-language
membership, but there will be consistent fundraising work in our other
languages, especially German. While you do not need to be fluent in other
languages, this position will work closely with our Campaigns Team to help
guide language and geo-based online fundraising strategies.

This position reports to the Director of Growth & Empowerment.

Salary range: US$60,000 - US$75,000 negotiable plus benefits, dependent upon
location and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

--Guide the strategy to achieve online fundraising targets across all
languages and geographies on a monthly basis in accordance with fundraising
projections, under the guidance of the Director of Growth & Empowerment;
--Oversee strategy, tactics, and implementation of All Out’s unrestricted
fundraising campaigns - primarily (but not limited to) Pride season and
End-of-Year giving;
--Oversee strategy, tactics, and implementation of our efforts to cultivate
and grow the Equality Champions monthly giving program;
--Oversee the roll out of additional sustainer acquisition opportunities,
such as direct debit for our UK membership;
--Oversee strategy, tactics, and implementation of our efforts to retain and
re-engage lapsed one-time and monthly donors;
--Management of crowdfunding campaigns in coordination with our grassroots
LGBT+ partners and the All Out Campaigns Team;
--Management of All Out’s merchandise program for fundraising campaign
“premiums” and the All Out Shop;
--Oversee the project management, launch, ongoing promotion, and progress
towards fundraising goals of All Out’s P2P fundraising platform;
--Consult with the Director of Programs on monthly campaign planning and
implementation;
--Work closely with the Senior Manager of Online Marketing to ensure that the
flow of engagement - from acquisition, to action, to donation, and
reengagement - is monitored and optimized;
--Maintain regular flow of communication on fundraising learnings to
campaigners and the broader team.
--Active participation in the Management Team, working across the
organization to help resolve or improve challenges around processes or
impact.

Essential skills and experience:

--A demonstrated commitment to strengthening the voice of LGBT+ people as a
path toward progressive change;
--At least 5 years of professional experience. Experience in online
fundraising and digital strategy is absolutely critical, with a strong
preference for those who have experience in online advocacy or marketing, as
well as those with experience cultivating and growing monthly donors;
--Extensive understanding of data, analytics and reporting, as it applies to
online fundraising work;
--Excellent writing skills and extensive experience with fundraising copy;
--Strong management skills and the ability to lead diverse teams to achieve
agreed goals and to drive change without direct authority;
--Ability to operate in a high-paced environment, working to tight deadlines
without compromising quality;
--Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with a diverse set
of people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds;
--Fluency in verbal and written English. Additional language skills in at
least one more All Out language (French, German, Italian, Portuguese or
Spanish) is a plus;
--An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, organized and deadline-oriented
attitude;
--Meticulous attention to detail;
--Demonstrated knowledge of the political and social context in the LGBT+
movement;

Desirable skills:

--Experience working with large eCRM databases like ActionKit, or a similar
platform;
--Basic knowledge of HTML and web development;
--Basic knowledge of SQL reporting;
--Basic knowledge of Google Analytics;
--Experience running successful P2P campaigns;
--Experience working remotely in a dispersed international team;
--An existing network in the LGBT+ or human rights movement.
