WEPOWER - Vice President of Development

Responsibilities:

Develop and cultivate strong, trusting partnerships with donors in
collaboration with the CEO, board, and fundraising consultants
Track and analyze development data from previous years to set ambitious yet
achievable goals and benchmarks that align with annual budget projections
Significantly grow the number of new donors and increase donor retention
Use donor research tools to identify, pitch, and close prospective donors
Ensure consistent cultivation, follow up, and reports for ongoing donor
engagement by efficiently monitoring donor activity in Salesforce
Work closely with staff to create compelling, effective, and reusable
fundraising materials that clearly explain WEPOWER’s impact and vision
Work with the CEO to manage the Board’s Development Subcommittee
effectively to increase fundraising opportunities
Leverage the expertise of partners and teammates effectively in funder
meetings by coaching them on how to represent their work effectively
Engage in weekly coaching and professional development experiences
facilitated by WEPOWER’s fundraising consultant/coach and fully immerse
oneself in fundraising training opportunities made available
Oversee a grants manager to ensure grant requirements are met and tracked
against the budget
