Responsibilities
- Record all revenue and expenditures in Quickbooks.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing,
payment tracking, and vendor communication. - Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Execute payroll processing, including calculating wages, and deductions.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with
relevant regulations. - Record donations in Breeze (online church management software)
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and streamline
processes. - Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure
compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations is a plus.
- CPA certification or eligibility is advantageous but not required.

- Work facilitated by the Director of Finance and Administration
Compensation: $35 per hour
