Economic Opportunity for Philly-Area Trans Communities

TransWork connects transgender and non-binary job seekers and entrepreneurs with a network of supportive employers and business partners.

We are proud to be a program of the Independence Business Alliance (IBA), Greater Philadelphia's LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce.

The TransWork Model

Job Seekers

From Fortune 500 companies to small local businesses, we have a diverse spectrum of national employers who want to hire you.

We strive to help Philly-area entrepreneurs launch or grow businesses through networking opportunities, supplier diversity programs, mentorship connections, and more!

We want to help you recruit top talent as an inclusive employer! Engage with TransWork and play your part in promoting economic justice for trans communities!

A Trans-Led, Trans-Focused Program

TransWork is led by a committee of trans-identifying  members of the IBA Board of Directors, and staffed by a trans program administrator. The IBA provides opportunities, access and resources to LGBTQ+ professionals and allies in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Launched in 2018, our program is the first of its kind to be housed within a Chamber of Commerce.

Join us in helping to address the economic needs of our community.
