All Out

The Campaigns Manager delivers All Out’s campaign work with a focus on
engaging All Out’s members in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia and
oversees the English email list and other communication channels.

The Campaigns Manager identifies, develops, and runs All Out’s campaigns;
including but not limited to pressure campaigns, member campaigns, and
crowdfunding campaigns.

This position will work on campaigns that will engage All Out audiences in
the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. The postholder will be enabling existing
and new All Out members in these countries to turn international solidarity
into real, impact-based action.

This position reports to the Director of Programs and will be based ideally
in the UK or US (other locations may be considered for exceptional
candidates).

The deadline to apply to this position is February 2, 2022.

Salary range: US$55,000 - US$65,000 negotiable plus benefits, dependent upon
location and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CAMPAIGNS
Identify, pitch and manage rapid-response campaigns and fundraisers around
crises and opportunities for LGBT+ rights, ensuring they have a strong theory
of change and potential to win and drive significant membership growth,
retention and engagement.
Ensure a consistent and diverse flow of member-generated petitions from the
UK, US, Canada, and Australia.
Manage All Out’s Twitter account to engage the Anglophone audience and
network with All Out’s partners.
Establish and manage partnerships with LGBT+ organizations and networks.
Use digital tools to test and monitor the performance of campaign emails,
action pages, and other campaign tools.
Design and implement tactics to ensure campaigns have real-world impact, and
reach audiences beyond All Out’s current pool of members and donors.
Write inspiring campaign copy.
Stay on top of latest trends and developments in online campaigning and
translate this into innovative actionable ideas for All Out and its partners.

GROWTH
Oversee the English email list, develop and run tactics to help maintain the
health of the list, and consult with the Director of Growth and Empowerment
to analyze progress towards list engagement and growth goals on a rolling
basis.
Consult with the Senior Manager of Online Marketing and the Senior Manager of
Online Fundraising to ensure an integrated approach to All Out's campaign
work that helps drive membership growth and engagement in the UK, US, Canada,
and Australia.

MANAGEMENT
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and management of staff, as applicable.

Essential skills and experience:
At least 4 years of professional experience, ideally in advocacy,
communications, or digital marketing;
Native English speaker;
Demonstrated knowledge of the political and social context in the LGBT+
movement;
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to produce
engaging content;
Demonstrated ability to build and manage partnerships;
Meticulous attention to detail;
Ability to operate in a high-paced environment, working to tight deadlines
without compromising quality;
A collaborative, flexible and open-minded working style;
An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, organized and deadline-oriented attitude;
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with an
international team;
A commitment to strengthening the voice of LGBT+ people as a path toward
progressive change.

Desirable skills:
Experience in online mobilization and campaigning;
Additional language skills, particularly French;
Experience working remotely;
An existing network in the LGBT+ or human rights movement.
