Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
• Provide information about the menu, specials, and events to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently as needed.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary.
• Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
• Assist in organizing special events or functions within the venue as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus, especially in resort or event settings.
• Skills in conflict management and public speaking are beneficial for effective communication with guests.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is an advantage.
• Background in events management or theater can enhance your ability to create memorable experiences for guests.
• A passion for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment is essential.
