WEPOWER - Director of Organizing and Campaigns

Lead WEPOWER’s early childhood, K12 education, and economic justice
organizers to build a powerful base of leaders across East St. Louis, St.
Louis City, and St. Louis County
Build strong, trusting relationships with other progressive movement and
social justice organizations that enable us to win campaigns
Train and coach the community organizing team and community leaders towards
campaign wins
Grow the base of leaders that are actively leading campaigns and coalitions
Adapt campaign messaging and narratives based on target audiences to catalyze
them to action
Annually define and refine a clear organizing strategy to support campaign
wins and frequently assess the effectiveness of the strategy including our
approach to (1) identifying and cultivating new leaders through the Power
Building Academy, (2) voter engagement, and (3) coalition building and
campaigns
Leverage data collection and analysis to help inform the community organizing
and leadership development visioning and strategic planning processes
Manage a budget effectively to support the various coalitions and campaigns
being led by WEPOWER and its base
