        pedagogy for early learners. Situated in the Marketing &amp; Communications<br />\r\n
        department, the Director will work in collaboration with colleagues in Museum<br />\r\n
        Learning, Community Engagement &amp; Inclusion, and IT to produce and distribute<br />\r\n
        compelling educational content that will support future revenue generation.</p>\r\n

        <p>Essential Functions:<br />\r\n
        Technology Infrastructure:<br />\r\n
        Using the results of a technology audit, identify, source and procure studio<br />\r\n
        production equipment such as HD cameras, audio, lighting, etc.<br />\r\n
        Create an in-house studio environment and remote production capabilities,<br />\r\n
        including an inventory management system<br />\r\n
        Manage, track and report on the grant-funded technology infrastructure budget<br />\r\n
        Content Creation:<br />\r\n
        Create and launch a digital learning program series and corresponding<br />\r\n
        platform(s) that will engage audiences outside of the traditional Museum as<br />\r\n
        an extension of its mission to change a child’s life as they discover the<br />\r\n
        power of learning through play<br />\r\n
        Leverage Museum intellectual property, experts and exhibit experiences to<br />\r\n
        conceptualize virtual play-based learning content for member families and<br />\r\n
        school groups<br />\r\n
        Collaborate with Chief Learning Officer and Museum Learning colleagues to<br />\r\n
        integrate social-emotional learning and early childhood development<br />\r\n
        principles into virtual offerings<br />\r\n
        Source market research and best practices from external sources and museum<br />\r\n
        colleagues to inform content strategy<br />\r\n
        Create and execute content creation workflow including strategy,<br />\r\n
        pre-production, scripting/storyboarding, content shoots, post-production and<br />\r\n
        distribution, ensuring established brand standards are met<br />\r\n
        Identify and mentor current staff to become talent for digital programming<br />\r\n
        Project Management, Budgeting and Reporting:<br />\r\n
        Lead an internal working group to develop a strategy and implementation plan<br />\r\n
        guided by market research and best practices to inform the infrastructure,<br />\r\n
        project process, program design, content production and distribution<br />\r\n
        platforms<br />\r\n
        Liaise with three experts/thought leaders who will provide strategic counsel<br />\r\n
        during key milestones along a two-year development process, as well as local<br />\r\n
        community-based advisors<br />\r\n
        Maintain and manage detailed records of status meetings and budgets for<br />\r\n
        funder reporting<br />\r\n
        Create and manage workflows for content development, production and<br />\r\n
        distribution<br />\r\n
        Track analytics and feedback to inform future strategy<br />\r\n
        Work with Directors of Member &amp; Visitor Services and Community Engagement &amp;<br />\r\n
        Inclusion to develop outreach strategies to strengthen relationships and<br />\r\n
        strategize revenue growth opportunities through digital learning offerings<br />\r\n
        Partner with the Director of Research &amp; Evaluation to embed evaluation<br />\r\n
        activities into digital initiatives<br />\r\n
        Minimum Qualifications:<br />\r\n
        Bachelor’s Degree in learning technologies, instructional technology,<br />\r\n
        digital media and technology, telecommunications and media, or similar field,<br />\r\n
        master’s degree preferred<br />\r\n
        Minimum of 5-7 years of experience developing digital learning content for a<br />\r\n
        mission-driven organization, preferably for young children in a museum-based<br />\r\n
        environment<br />\r\n
        Skilled in content strategy, scripting/storyboarding, videography,<br />\r\n
        production, editing, and proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite with<br />\r\n
        specialization in Adobe Premiere and After Effects<br />\r\n
        Familiarity with content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal, as<br />\r\n
        well as current social media platforms and emerging mediums for content<br />\r\n
        distribution<br />\r\n
        Passion and infectious energy for digital engagement and learning, especially<br />\r\n
