They will interact with designers to<br />\r\n problem-solve, partner on material choices, and oversee all the physical<br />\r\n elements of our theatrical work according to the needs of the designs and the<br />\r\n resources available. They are charged to create a safe, professional and<br />\r\n joyful environment for designers, IATSE crew members and co-workers.</p>\r\n \r\n <p>Responsibilities<br />\r\n Overseeing shop-builds and production. Engineering, construction of and<br />\r\n loading-in of scenic needs for all Wilma theater production projects. This<br />\r\n will include building new items as well as the acquisition and transport of<br />\r\n shop built/found/borrowed objects.</p>\r\n \r\n <p>Production planning, including attending production meetings to discuss load<br />\r\n in/out, functionality and integration of all scenic elements, coordinated<br />\r\n across multiple departments.</p>\r\n \r\n <p>Attendance at technical rehearsals, previews, and post-mortems as needed to<br />\r\n support the production team, complete scenic notes, and develop and hone best<br />\r\n practices for an effective, efficient and safe work environment.</p>\r\n \r\n <p>Planning and supervision of all scenic labor, including IATSE crew members<br />\r\n and other professional artisans both in the theater, and in any or all<br />\r\n ancillary spaces.
