We want to keep our readers ahead of the changes in the industry:<br />\r\n what companies are springing up, who’s winning the battle for people’s<br />\r\n attention, and where all this audio hype is headed. It’ll be up to you to<br />\r\n guide them and filter the signal from the noise.<br />\r\n <br />\r\n A great Hot Pod reporter will have a sense for not only the pure business<br />\r\n stories and the news that matters, but how they affect the livelihoods of the<br />\r\n people who work in the industry, whether that be corporate executives, on-air<br />\r\n hosts, or indie podcasters. The beat is growing alongside the audio space, so<br />\r\n the right reporter will be a self-starter who cares about audio and<br />\r\n chronicling the industry’s trajectory, but also finds ways to go deeper<br />\r\n than the headlines.
