The Department Administrator must thrive and excel in a fast-paced, high-student traffic environment and provide critical support to students and staff.</p><p>The Department Administrator manages the administrative support for the Vice Chancellor for Student Academic Success, including calendar management, expense preparation and filing, preparation and dissemination of information, report preparation and analysis, special projects, and general communications. They will work consistently with an understanding of the mission, vision, role, and goals of the unit.</p><p>The Department Administrator provides oversight, facilitation, and supervision of relevant Rutgers policy interpretation; purchasing, personnel, space, and facilities planning; major event design, promotion, and implementation; budget tracking, and supports business processes. They must resolve a diverse range of problems consistent with an understanding of the mission, vision, role, and goals of the unit and with a comprehensive understanding of administration/office management in accordance with management principles, applicable regulations, and university policies and procedures.
