The Eater SF editor guides day-to-day coverage, while managing and guiding a team of at least deputy editor. The editor is responsible for collaborating with the wider Eater network and establishing a clear grounding vision for the site that helps steer and focus the trajectory of the team’s coverage. Special attention should be given to the impact and relevance in Bay Area communities by continuing to drive conversations about the restaurant industry and dining culture in a fast-paced, competitive market.</p><p>Daily programming includes a mix of originally reported news stories and features, as well as service-focused maps and guides. The editor is also responsible for audience growth and engagement. Stories should not all focus on one area or subject: The editor should have the range to cover the bar and hospitality industries, policy changes, and labor and social justice stories.
