Please submit both a resume and cover letter to be considered.</strong></em></p><h2>Summary Description:</h2><p>The Ford Foundation’s Information Technology department seeks a Manager, Systems Integrations to join their team. The Manager collaborates closely with the Associate Director, Integrations and Reporting to supervise all the integrations between applications in the Foundation’s IT environment.</p><p>With both conceptual and practical knowledge, the Manager can introduce fresh perspectives to solutions and drive impactful improvement in integrations. This role primarily involves collaborating with users and other teams on defining and implementing integration for user cases. The incumbent will be tasked with analyzing and contributing to guide decision-making in user scenarios and business flows. During this process, they are responsible for translating business use cases for orchestration between SaaS systems into technical specifications, anticipating technical challenges, defining deliverables and timelines, and guiding developers in configuring or developing integrations based on specifications.</p><p>The Manager is accountable for monitoring daily operations and ensuring data quality resulting from integrations. This role also collaborates with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the quality of integrations. With expert understanding of business data and processes, they will create consolidated program milestones, interdependencies, development and delivery plans and coordinate efforts of internal process owners and subject matter experts.</p><p>It is strongly preferred that the incumbent have some experience as a developer. Understanding Javascript, Python and C# are important for this role. Experience with an integration platform, such as Boomi, MuleSoft or a similar tool is critical for the position. In addition, experience with Workday and Salesforce is an added bonus.</p><h3>Responsibilities, include but not limited to:</h3><ul><li>Lead development and maintenance of both standard and custom integrations that facilitate data exchange across different systems in the foundation.</li><li>Propose and present solutions to stakeholders to secure consensus and to guarantee the seamless progress of the project.</li><li>Work with business owners and related vendors to jointly set project priorities and tasks to ensure the completion of projects in a timely manner.</li><li>Coordinate with different application teams, vendors and clients to explain complex scenarios, recommend solutions, and ensure the data in the data warehouse serves all business needs.</li><li>Investigate data issues and manage engineers to resolve them, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all sources.</li><li>Explore and research new integration technologies and methodologies.</li><li>Collaborate with the Operations Team in the development of SOP and the improvement of the knowledge base, aiming to achieve a "first call resolution" for integration issues reported to the Help Desk.</li><li>Liaise with key stakeholders across the foundation to prioritize and resolve integration issues.</li><li>Manage technical documentation of data flow between systems & data warehouse related changes.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related discipline, or equivalent and equivalent experience.</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience in data integration and experience with access and usage of relational databases.</li><li>Expertise in analyzing business requirements.</li><li>Broad knowledge of data management principles.</li><li>Experience using an integration platform, such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar.</li><li>Experience connecting cloud systems and working with various APIs.</li><li>Knowledge of iterative development methodologies (Prototyping, Agile)</li><li>Proficiency with SQL Server, C#, Python, T-SQL, Ruby and JSON, Workday Studio.</li><li>Proven track record of leveraging technology solutions to deliver on projects.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including an aptitude for complex and detailed work.</li><li>Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team and to juggle multiple priorities in a busy, time-sensitive environment.</li></ul><h3>Physical Requirements:</h3><p>This position is primarily a sedentary role.
