Administrative Coordinator

This position is 25 hours/week in our Arlington Heights main office with a
starting salary of $29,250/yr.
Job Responsibilities:
General Administration
- answer main phone lines & route calls when in the office
- maintain organized file mgmt. system both electronically and paper when
needed
- manage program & office supply inventory and order materials as needed
- prepare office signage for agency closing notifications
- monthly data entry for funders in appropriate systems
Finance
- prepare & deposit agency checks while maintaining appropriate records in
Quickbooks system
- assist with monthly preparation of grant reports as needed
- assist with preparation of material for fiscal audits
Human Resources
- oversee new hire onboarding process as needed
- maintain & manage staff time off process
- work with vendors to ensure staff fringe benefits are accurate and up to
date
Qualifications & Key Skills:
- 2-3 years experience in administrative role
- high school diploma or equivalent work experience
- 40 hour sexual violence certification required - will provide training to
the right applicant
- familiarity with Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- commitment to accuracy, excellent attention to detail, highly efficient and
conscientious about thorough follow-up
- highly organized
- skilled communicator, with superior interpersonal, verbal and written
skills
- able to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality
- high degree of initiative, self-motivated, resourceful
- ability to work under and comply with continuous & multiple deadlines and
evolving priorities
- team player who enjoys interaction with professionals, peers, volunteers
and those served by the organization
- ability to work in the field of sexual violence and a passion for the
mission
