 Job Description
This Senior Consultant position will be part of Security Risk Advisors’
Advisory practice, which is comprised of defensive toolset engineering,
attack simulations, cloud security, ICS/OT Security, threat hunting, and
purple teams, cyber security strategy and roadmaps. Our style of consulting

Responsibilities:
- Defensive Control Engineering: Content creation, tuning, and engineering
across defensive platforms including, for example, SIEM, EDR, SOAR, UEBA,
DLP, cloud, network detection and prevention, as well as firewalls and
isolation.
- Defensive Control Implementations and Architecture: Execute and lead
technical security control implementations and design control architecture(s)
for defensive success.
- Advisory Projects: Lead and support discussions on security best practices,
practical implementations of real-world security and provide potential
solutions to common challenges.
- Strategy Projects: Conduct assessments of client environments using
technical frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and industry frameworks such as
NIST, ISO, and PCI
- Project Leadership: Effectively lead engagements as a subject matter expert
(SME) to deliver client projects. Lead meetings, track team tasks, and
present deliverables to client stakeholders.
- Technical Writing: Produce formal reports and present findings to
management for awareness and internal feedback.
- Coaching and Mentorship: Assist in coaching and providing feedback to
Junior Consultants on the team.
- Training: Remain current on information security and emerging threat
trends, tools, and methodologies to combat the same.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional information security consulting experience.
- Be well versed in at least one of the following: security control
engineering, security architecture, cloud security solutions, ICS/OT
security, security information and event management (SEIM), and endpoint
detection and response (EDR). Be able to independently execute a project in
that category.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
- Interest in taking the initiative for personal growth and development.
- Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules of client and project needs
and willingness to work extended hours when needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of
professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent subject matter.
- Previous consulting experience is not required but is preferred.
- Willingness to travel
