Barnes West - 2024 Everyday Places Artist Partnerships

CALL FOR ARTISTS | CALL FOR PLACES

Bringing art to everyday places, for everyday people.

Barnes West launched Everyday Places Artist Partnerships in 2021 to provide West Philadelphia residents with spaces to co-create with multidisciplinary artistic projects that offer inspiration and promote hope and healing. This year’s cohort of artists will partner with “everyday” locations in the neighborhood—including public parks, civic centers, and community organizations—to build interactive, participatory projects that engage with the business or site and residents.

Everyday places like restaurants, parks, and service organizations are key locations in neighborhoods that foster community. Learn more about hosting an Everyday Places Artist Partnership. Apply by March 8, 2024.

Social impact artists and artist groups based in West Philly are invited to submit proposals for the fourth annual Everyday Places Artist Partnerships. Apply by March 29, 2024 (UPDATED DATE)

How to Apply

Apply by March 29, 2024, for Everyday Places Artist Partnerships. Three artists will be selected. The program stipend includes an artist stipend ($4,000), supplies (up to $1,000), and other associated costs.
