Purpose
This position provides supportive client services for participation in the
Delaware Housing Assistance Program (DHAP) and processing of requests for
Emergency Financial Assistance (EFA)

Essential Duties for DHAP
•       Update and maintain housing client hard charts on an ongoing basis
•       Update and maintain the housing program database on an ongoing basis
•       Manage the demographic spreadsheet for HUD reports on an ongoing basis
•       Update the waiting list at the start of each month
•       Complete the data entry for Ryan White services into the Ryan White
database on a monthly basis
•       Generate and mail inspection notification letters to clients and
landlords on a monthly basis
•       Provide semi-annual waiting list updates to Case Managers statewide
•       Generate and mail the letters for newly recalculated rental assistance to
clients and landlords, as needed
•       Disburse information about housing options to persons seeking information
about resources in Delaware, as needed
•       Communicate regularly with case managers, landlords, property managers,
and others who provide services that promote housing stability
•       Enter new applicants into the database and onto the waiting list, as
needed
•       Post income updates, as needed
•       Coordinate the case manager assessment verification (CMAV) forms on a
monthly basis
•       Coordinate the Utility Allowance reimbursements for specified clients

Essential Duties for EFA
•       Process incoming applications on a weekly basis
•       Generate and mail appropriate letters each week
•       Complete the data entry into the appropriate databases each week
•       Report on program activities on a monthly basis
•       Disburse information about the EFA programs to case managers upon request

Other responsibilities:
•       Professional development activities including: participation in webinars,
workshops, and seminars to enhance program quality and comply with federal
regulations
•       Other duties as assigned

Requirements
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in administrative assistant / secretarial
work
Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite

Salary Range
$30,000 to $34,000 annually
