How You Will Contribute
The Manger of Audience Strategy works with the Director of Membership and Audience Strategy in the creation of marketing communications efforts to fulfill goals of the Visitor Experience Division.  They oversee the Assistant Manager of Telemarketing.

Specifically, you will:
•       Create and send email solicitations (renewals, direct mail, upgrade, annual fund, gift membership, and ticket buying), pre/post exhibition and general admission visits, onboarding series and other emails as assigned.
•       Manage production of frontline signage, brochures, rack cards, and handouts and oversee setup and maintain inventory
•       Manage membership renewal mailing strategies and coordinate send with the mail house, maintain record of inventory, and send seed alerts
•       Maintain accurate records of list exchange requests, send new requests for direct mail acquisition campaigns, and respond to any requests from outside organizations
•       Manage communication timing with departments across the museum
•       Manage segments and system upkeep of cross-institutional e-marketing tool
•       Keep and file accurate records of projects and samples of printed materials
•       Work with Assistant Manager of Member Engagement to project and track annual expense budgets for the department
•       Set-up and execute best practices in email marketing tool including list set-up segmentation, and automations
•       Create and maintain onboarding and recapture strategies for audiences including members, visitors, and program participants
•       Work with Manager of Systems and Analysis and the Content department on email and segment performance report creation and analysis to allow for data drive e-marketing decisions
•       Work with Manager of Member Experience and Assistant Manager of Member Engagement to determine timing and platform for content delivery to keep members most engaged
•       Work with Assistant Telemarketing manager to create successful telemarketing campaigns that support and align with the greater efforts of the department and track their success.
•       Work with Member Engagement team on strategy and reporting for Young Friends social channels
•       Assist with proofreading acquisition, renewal, group visit, and other printed materials
•       Submit membership webpage updates to IIT, monitor performance through Google Analytics, and keep content fresh and accurate
•       Update fulfillment and Alexa content as needed and track results
•       Draft department highlights for quarterly Trustee reports
•       Perform other related duties as assigned

Your background and experience include:
•       Experience with email marketing tools, social media platforms, and google analytics
•       Prior experience in membership, marketing, or communications
•       Exceptional organizational and communication skills
•       Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to create and maintain effective and cooperative work relationships
•       Excellent attention to detail
•       Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•       Bachelor’s degree in related subject matter (marketing, communications, or advertising) or equivalent relevant experience
•       Familiarity with the Museum membership model & Raiser’s Edge preferred

Position and Compensation Details
•       The salary for this position is $50,000.
•       This position is full-time, exempt, and 35 hours per week.
•       COVID-19 vaccination required.
