PART TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

Location

Crust is a specialty, vegan bakery located on Main Street in the NW Philadelphia neighborhood of Manayunk.

Pay rate, Healthcare, and PTO

Base pay starts at $14/hr, with the possibility of a raise 6 months later. Tips are split equally among all staff (based on the number of hours worked each week), and average an additional $2 - 4/hr. After a three month probationary period, new employees receive 24 hours of Paid Time Off, 40 hours of Sick Time, and access to a free telehealth plan provided by Crust.

Schedule

24 hours/week with a set schedule of:

• Friday & Saturday: 1pm - 9pm
• Sunday: 11am - 7pm

“But do I have to be vegan to work here?”

While we do not require our staff to be vegan, we are a kosher certified bakery, so any food or beverage brought to work must follow kosher guidelines and therefore must be vegan.

Duties include:

• Taking and packing orders
• Helping customers
• Stocking
• Minimal baking
• Cleaning & dishwashing
• This role asks that you:

• Are able to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and problem solve
• Keep a clean & organized work-station throughout your entire shift
• Are able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Are able to lift 10-50 pounds repetitively
• Are able to gain and retain a detailed knowledge of all products & their ingredients
• Have previous customer service experience
• Have basic knowledge of food safety (Servsafe certified, a plus)
