Senior/Solution Architect:

The Senior Architect will lead the definition and design of our architecture
strategy for the expansion of existing and development of new projects for
one of the company’s leading suite of solutions for the Life Sciences
industry.  This is a very technical role that requires extensive IT
experience, cloud technologies knowledge and be able to stay current with
technology innovations and trends.

The Senior Architect is a leadership role and is responsible for leading deep
technical architecture discussions with Enterprise Architects, IT Management
and Developers, while also clearly communicating the strategy to executive
management and business leaders.

Looking for someone with at least:
•       BA/BS in a related technical field; or the equivalent in education and
work experience
•       A minimum of 10 years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines,
including technical architecture, network management, application
development, middleware, database management or operations
•       5+ years of experience in software, network, or systems architecture
•       Expert level development skills in .Net, C#
•       Experience with Architecting, designing and developing applications on
Azure
•       Strong experience with Azure enterprise implementations preferably in the
Life Sciences sector
•       Designing and building applications using container and serverless
technologies
•       Strong skills in Continuous integration technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Azure
DevOps);
•       Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API
management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g.
Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, micro service frameworks
etc.
•       Demonstrated data architecture experience; experience with relational and
noSQL databases
•       Strong experience in Networking and Security design
•       Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
•       Excellent communication (verbal and written), strong interpersonal,
communication, and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience
including senior and executive management, customers, etc.
•       Experience effectively interacting with and supporting multiple product
development and delivery teams
•       Experience with offshore development, delivery and integration is
desired.
•       Preferably Azure Solutions Architect Expert
