VISTA Fund Development Associate (YEAR 2)
The VISTA member will expand fundraising capacity to support the continued
operation and expansion of our programs for U.S. students and our programs in
the United States. They will expand our fundraising work by building on the
achievements and improvements to our fundraising team's activities conducted
by the year-one VISTA Fund Development Associate. They will increase the size
and impact of the annual auction fundraiser. They will expand our grant
seeking capacity and outreach to foundations to gain more funding for AMIGOS
programs and financial assistance fund. They will support in coordinating
donor events and engage donors in new ways through donor surveys and
testimonials. Overall, they will support the AMIGOS Fund Development Team in
reach our increased 2021 Annual Fund fundraising need of over $1MM.
Member Duties : Grow the size and impact of annual fundraisers; Expand scope
of grant research; draft grants to foundations and corporations to develop
new AMIGOS programs; Support outreach to foundations and corporations;
Support donor stewardship efforts; Support event planning; Advance
pre-existing and launch new initiatives to involve and make low-income and
younger donors in these philanthropic activities; additional duties as
assigned.
