Please visit https://gendercool.org/ to learn more about our organization.</p><h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Research and identify grant opportunities, write compelling grant proposals, and submit timely reports as required.</li><li>Utilize expertise in Raisers Edge NXT/BlackBaud to manage donor database effectively and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.</li><li>Cultivate a plan for major donors, maintaining regular communication and providing stewardship to enhance donor engagement and retention.</li><li>Assist in planning and executing fundraising events or campaigns as needed.</li><li>Provide support to the Senior Director of Operations and Programs on various development-related tasks.</li><li>Collaborate with the Development Associate to plan and execute fundraising strategies.</li><li>Direct solicitations through phone banking, email campaigns, and digital fundraising initiatives.</li><li>Ensure progress towards goals in organization’s fundraising strategy</li></ul><h2>Requirements:</h2><ul><li>Five or more years in non-profit fundraising.</li><li>Proven experience in grant writing and reporting, with a track record of securing funding from foundations.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and professional experience required.</li><li>Experience in and knowledge of the LGBTQ+ space</li><li>Proficiency and demonstrated skill in Raisers Edge NXT/BlackBaud</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with donors.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
